Deco. Created through a visionary partnership between
Alan Yau and Nejoud Restaurant Management
Company, Solange
offers a refined balance of bold flavors, performance,
and timeless sophistication.
THE INTERIOR
Designed by Parisian architect Hervé Bourgeois, the interiors feature custom tiles, bespoke
artwork, and stunning details like A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains by De Gournay.
From a design perspective, and in line with the evolving dialogue of interior architecture,
the space moves beyond chinoiserie and engages with the early era of French Art Deco.
Solange is situated in a distinct stylistic moment: post-chinoiserie, within the nascent phases
of Art Deco, yet just before the minimalist refinement of Jean-Michel Frank.
The Details
Every element has been considered through the lens of emotional architecture. From
the placement of the stage to the circulation of the room, details are designed to
heighten both intimacy and spectacle. The balance of materials, lighting, and form
reflects a space that is not only stylish, but alive with energy.
The Zero Bar
At the heart of Solange is The Zero Bar; a redefinition of bar culture
that
places crafted, non-alcoholic cocktails at the center.
